With the mast positioned on the running horse roundabout, these panoramas were shot for an architect to be used as backdrops for rendered 3D models of a proposed car showroom.

In order for the model to fit as well as possible we have paid special attention to recording the mast position. Using both handheld sat-nav and written notes, combined with Google Earth we are able give a mast location to within a meter or two. With the heights also at fixed points, the 3D modeler is able to accurately position his Virtual Camera and render the models to perfectly fit the photograph. For the full effect we can go onto site and shoot 360° panoramic images for use as both environment maps and also exterior views from within the model.

Also using Google earth we are able to supply initial approximate measurements, including a perimeter length for fencing etc.
